New Library and Resource Facility

In the second poorest country in the Western hemisphere, education empowerment can change lives and communities. You can support CREA’s work by contributing to our new library and resource facility in rural Nicaragua. This Center will serve as the primary site for our various programs through which we engage local youth and their families through our education and outreach initiatives.

What our new Resource Center will provide:

Literacy. We loan books, encourage children to read and provide educational opportunities to the community.

Academic Support. Our teacher-led Tutoring and Mobile Program engage school children in core subjects.

Youth Development. The Formación Fénix leadership program focuses on entrepreneurial skills development, community involvement and college preparation. Our scholarship component enables kids in high school to continue with a post-secondary education.

Community Engagement. Our monthly events invite families to participate in the growth of their community.

Our Progress:

To date, a generous supporter has donated a beautiful piece of land for CREA’s use and we have secured pledges for nearly half of the estimated $230,000 construction costs.

We invite you to join this select group of people who are committed to supporting this endeavor.

Please make a personally meaningful contribution
toward CREA’s new building:

$50,000 constructs our library space

$20,000 erects and outfits our computer lab

$10,000 builds an outdoor meeting and learning space

$5,000 provides a workspace for our youth development group

$2,500 furnishes our entire facility with tables and chairs
