
Our Team
CREA’s dedicated team is made up of 38 Nicaraguan staff who are from the communities we serve. Two North American staff members also support CREA’s mission to elevate Nicaraguans and their communities through literacy and learning.
As an education-focused organization, CREA lives out its mission is by offering continual professional development opportunities for staff. We support ongoing education, attendance at conferences, and trainings around teaching and learning on an ongoing basis.
Our Leadership
At CREA, our leadership is defined by a dynamic and dedicated team that works collaboratively to ensure the success and growth of our programs. Our Board of Directors is an active, engaged group of professionals committed to guiding the organization with vision, strategic oversight, and a passion for teaching and learning. They bring diverse expertise from various fields, including education, nonprofit management, and community development.
In addition to our Board, CREA benefits from the insights and expertise of our Advisory Council. This group of talented individuals provides invaluable guidance on key initiatives, offering advice on best practices, strategic planning, program development, and community engagement. Together, our Board and Advisory Council play a crucial role in shaping CREA’s impact, helping us stay true to our vision and achieve our mission to elevate Nicaraguans through literacy and learning.
CREA is also supported and guided by many other talented individuals who hold CREA near and dear to their hearts. Our work would not be possible without not only our Board of Directors, but also our Advisory Council, extraordinary volunteers, countless donors.
